And Here’s Why Bart Stupak was Lying: (Where has this video been?)
Monday, March 22, 2010 7:36
We’ve been grossly mislead this whole time. Bart Stupak admits in this town hall meeting that he always intended to vote for this health care bill. Saying you are pro-life doesn’t make you pro-life. This was a pro-abortion vote. And such a claim to still be pro-life is mistaken in the best case and a purposeful lie in the worst case. I think in this case, pro-lifers have been lied to by Bart Stupak.
Some readers may disagree with my opinion and that’s okay. My opinion is that Bart Stupak took us all for a ride. My guess is that Mr. Stupak planned to bring along enough pro-lifers to get the support and the votes needed without appearing to be at fault for the passing of this bill.
Now we’ve got the worst thing since Roe v. Wade for pre-born children in America, Nancy Pelosi giggling about it all the way to the bank, and President Barack Obama setting his bloody Freedom of Choice Act legacy in stone with the final piece of that horrendous act all but in place as of last night. All the while they claim to be the great bringers of compassion to our nation.
To our Christian readers, we can and we should trust God, but if your “trust” in God leads to inaction and complacency about what happened last night you would do well to reconsider that. This is a call to action. This is a call to grassroots protest against all forms of abortion in fresh and creative ways. This is a call to fervent Christian prayer and fasting. There are things you can do Christians, however small, and your trust in God ought to provoke you to do them in defense of pre-born children. Trust God and don’t give up.

Praying now.
This is scary.
Thanks for the solid analysis and update.
Well said, buddy. Very sad, and scary stuff. And yes, while sad and horrific, the call to action- especially through prayer and fasting- is a must. We rejoice that God is on His throne and working through this- for His glory!
