The Senate’s lone Democrat abortion holdout, save for all the pro-life Republicans not voting for the bill, Ben Nelson (NE), is signing on to the healthcare bill after securing approx. 300 million in medicaid for his home state. He did so only after securing restrictions on abortion coverage in the bill.

Apparently.

I’m encouraging anyone following this horrendous legislation to follow with a healthy skepticism.

Why?

One major reason: Barbara Boxer, Democrat (CA). Boxer is perhaps the Senates most vehement abortion supporter. Boxer is still in favor of this bill.  I can’t yet believe that Boxer would support this bill if there weren’t a healthy loophole for federally funded abortions for all women.

This vote certainly doesn’t match her record. You’ll see on that link that she twice voted in opposition to the Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act. I assume our readers know about Partial Birth Abortion.

Barbara Boxer is no dummy, she has only proven to be a calculating, aggressive, political, proponent of abortion.  I’m confident that there is more to this than meets the eye. Please check in for more as the updates roll out.
